We are really excited to add this little girl to our collection. She's so prolific, a sturdy tree that crops from summer into autumn with the odd fruit through the year. Fat fingers of delicious fruit, they look so impressive on the tree. You should start to get fruit on these plants in the summer, although we do alway emphasise concentrate on growing the plant, develop strength for years of productive cropping - patience really is a virtue.

Native to Australia Judy's everbearing grows within a wide ranging conditions. BEST POSSIE is sheltered, warm and wind free. Native Citrus are tolerant of very cold temperatures and light frost.

Growing to around 3 to 4 metres, Judy's everbearing is easily trimmed, espaliered and happily grows in pots and containers.

Fruit usually begins in the second season, however this is very dependent on conditions and nuture.Cylindrical, finger sized and shaped fruit. Fruit is usually produced in autumn. Fragrant thin green skin blushed with crimson. Slice fruit open to reveal a vault of glistening citrus pearls bursting with juicy limey flavours. Originating from the understory Judy's everbearing naturally enjoys dappled light, although performs best in full sun, in a warm protected location.

Use the citrus pearls as a delicious garnish for seafood and shellfish, use fruit whole or sliced when making tangy marmalades and sauces.

When will I have fruit? This is a really tricky question to answer however generally it would be in the second or third autumn from planting. The plants that you are buying  are in their third growth year.

When buying Citrus it is really important to buy professionally grown and grafted/budded plants.

WHY? - Imagine how dissapointing when after years of growing your tree it never produces fruit? This is what happens often with seed grown trees. The Plant Shop only sells premium grafted trees. To ensure that you will get what you're planning for, citrus on your trees. Full flavoured and true to type. The trees are superbly healthy and clean. Don't risk buying anything else!
Grafting also provides you with a strong and vigorous root system that supports strong growth in the tree and protects from soil borne virus.....Don't risk buying anything else!

Our Citrus plants come straight off the production benches, in a purpose designed box ready to come and live in your garden.

DISPATCH - We generally dispatch weekly on a Tuesday to ensure you recieve your plant prior to the weekend.

PICK UP - We do not offer pick up we are dispatch only.
